Great product but the instructions are lacking a couple of important pieces of information…
I saw an ad for this grip on social media and thought it might provide a sturdy, hefty grip when taking pictures. The ad also showed that the button portion could be removed and used as a remote, but when I tried to remove it, there was no notch to lift that portion.The instruction booklet said to replace the battery when the light turns red, but I couldn’t find a battery compartment with/for batteries.Trying to find a battery compartment, I felt around the button section of the grip again, then gently lifted the zoom lever, when the silver button compartment came off the grip, revealing a USB-C charging port!So, there are no batteries, but there is a way to charge the unit AND the button section is a removable remote.The grip was really easy to set up, Bluetooth worked perfectly and was easy to pair with my phone.The light was a bonus and is probably the best light I’ve ever used, but do yourself a favor and DO NOT look into it when adjusting the brightness. The brightest setting rivals looking directly into the sun. That setting is probably best used for food or something that doesn’t have eyes – or someone you don’t like very much.Overall, this is a good value for the money and I’d recommend it to friends.

Barely Functions at All
I would have posted no stars but I decided that it did connect and took photos when I pressed the button so 1 star.Other than that it doesn’t work at all as advertised. It looses Bluetooth connection often and the 2 other buttons don’t work at all. While it does provide a more stable platform for shooting, it really does nothing that a tripod won’t.I am really disappointed in this unit.

One hand 🤚
Handy! Works as advertised and the light is both reversible and bright! Handle helps to hold the phone and take photos easily with one hand. Seems sturdy, and although not light, the weight is appropriate for its purpose.

Ich bin ja immer skeptisch, wenn solche Tools für Smartphones angeboten werden. Aber das hier funktioniert einwandfrei. Nicht nur, man einen praktischen Griff hat, auch ein Fernauslöser ist sozusagen integriert. Ich nutze den Griff gerne und viel.
