Convenient, versatile stand
This is the coolest little stand. It’s well-made and can be put in many positions so the phone is both vertical and horizontal. The ring is also nice for when I’m holding my phone.It took some figuring out how to position it, but there are several ways and it’s so convenient. The magnet is also strong. However, if you do use it on something metal, the weight of the phone will pull down on the hinge and sink, so it doesn’t hold certain positions when using it like this.Overall, though, I really like this little stand. It’s so convenient.

I love to have a ring holder on my cases & this one does not disappoint.. it’s a double sided magnet that holds marvelously.. acts as a stand with good support for watching movies on my galaxy fold 5.. doesn’t add much weight to this already weighty device.. easy to remove to use wireless charging.. Great for iPad Mini – not great for iPhone
This is definitely works best when used as a portable stand, not so much as a finger loop to hold a device. I bought this specifically to use with my iPad mini, but did try it with my iPhone. I found it to be a poor match for iPhone because:1. It’s REALLY thick and bulky2. Cannot use with a MagSafe car mount because the magnets do not align (very surprising). Obviously I knew it is too thick to wirelessly charge my phone with it attached, but I assumed I could at least use the MagSafe mount with this to hold the phone. Nope.I have a syncwire loop holder for my iPhone that is much thinner, will properly hold to a MagSafe mount, and has built-in ratcheting rotation of base which makes it easy to position. That’s a much better optionFor iPad Mini, it’s just what I needed. The box comes with a metal adhesive ring that can be attached to the back of an iPad Mini so this holder can be used. The size and stiffness of this folding stand holds the iPad very securely in many useful orientations. The bulkiness is much less of an issue with the larger iPad since I’m not trying to carry the iPad in my pocket. It is still annoying the magnets do not alight with the Apple MagSafe mounts, but the magnets are plenty strong for holding an iPad onto any steel metal surface.FYI the base does not “rotate” like the Syncwire with any kind of internal mechanism – instead it’s just sliding on the surface of the iPhone/iPad when you twist it to rotate the position.Overall it’s a pretty good portable stand for a small tablet. I do not like it for phones.

I bought one and liked it so much I bought another one. I don’t carry this one around – I mounted one on my desk with a ring stuck where I wanted it, one in the kitchen, and I stuck a ring on the metal plate under my mirror and move the stand when I need it in the bathroom. It is super sturdy and adjustable. It’s a little heavy and almost too sturdy to use as a regular ring, but as a stand, it’s great. As a ring, I found that I could pop it loose too easy, so I dropped the phone a couple of times. As a stand, I don’t knock my phone off the desk or counter because it is solid. It comes with two rings, so this worked perfect for making multiple mounting surfaces.Update: I again purchased another one. This puppy is so strong that I can use it for other stuff. I stuck rings strategically on the bottom of my Vari-Desk so I can use it as a stand, but I have also used it to keep a book open while I need to be hands free. Love this thing. I may just have a mounting ring on every surface of my life soon. Thanks!

UPDATE: lost the black one when it stuck to a grocery cart and was left behind. Ordered the green one which seems a little lighter. Good quality.So far it’s the best magnetic stand I’ve tried. LOTS of option for configurations to support your phone in portrait or landscape. Stiff so it should last. Only complaint I have is that it pops off every time I drop my phone. But maybe nothing magnetic can sustain a drop.It will increase the weight and thickness of your case and can catch on pocket pulling in or out but worth it to me since it seems so sturdy
