Launch In 5: Taking Your Idea from Lightbulb Moment to Profitable Business in Record Time

How do you do justice to your business idea? It’s a question that entrepreneurs are always asking, aware that 70% of new businesses fail. Starting a business is scary, especially for first-timers, but there is a safe, LAUNCH IN 5 way to do it. If you are launching a new business, this book will improve your chance for success in the most economic, efficient, and painless way possible, before you put large amounts of time and money on the line. It provides a comprehensive guide on how to rapidly turn an idea into a money-making machine – whether it is a side gig or a headfirst dive into the world of entrepreneurship. Because most new businesses are conducted online, it will place an emphasis on how to launch and build a business on the internet, and because most new entrepreneurs are operating within a small budget and timeframe, these concepts are inexpensive, fast, low-risk, and proven. Based on the author’s insider strategies, LAUNCH IN 5 will guide the reader through each step of getting their idea out into the world, from inception to launch to ensuring long-term growth. It will also offer tools to help the reader determine whether their idea is worth pursuing (most aren’t) and, if not, return them safely to the concept-development stage before they waste massive amounts of money and time launching an idea that will never fly. You’ll learn that · Most risk is unnecessary. · You can launch your new business in days (or sometimes even hours). · You can apply the same launch strategies you’ll learn here for an online business, an offline start-up a global corporation, with a budget of $50 or $500,000. These method work in any industry, for any idea. · You can lower the start-up failure rate from 70% to 9% if you follow the guidance in this book. · Most business ideas can have their potential success (or failure) proved in just a week or so, for less than the cost of the latest iPhone.

Awesome, practical approach to Launching Ideas
MAN! GREAT JOB!.. What I particularly liked about your approach, is how you can apply it to any idea. It isn’t just Crowdfunding specific. And it isn’t just for digital, and not just for physical products. You really did a great job of explaining the concept of Launch Marketing in a broad enough sense that I feel like I can apply it to any idea.I also really like your tone. You aren’t boastful or selling positive rah rah, cheerleader like rhetoric for your own brand/system. Rather, you come from a place that is honest about your aversion to risk, and that helps me buy in as a reader.Lastly, I liked how you explained the two different trajectories and the pros/cons of each. With launches, I feel like a lot of people get lost in the total size/ dollar amount. But for me personally, the success of a launch is more about testing/validating the positioning and finding traction. And for a lot of clients/creators- A lot of them have fairly minimal advertising budgets to work with. So the tortoise trajectory makes more sense for them, as its not an all or nothing.Great job man, thoroughly enjoyed.

Great, easy to read book for those wanting to pursue the entrepreneurship route
Great book for those wanting to pursue the entrepreneurship route, whether they have prior experience or not. This book provides a ‘recipe’ to test your product or idea before you have invested too much time and money in it, reducing greatly the risk of failure. It’s like Lean Startup but a modernized version. While Will Russell has used this strategy in large, multi-million product launches successfully, the recipe is simple enough that it can be used in smaller endeavors, making the book appealing to a greater audience. As someone that is in the corporate world with a standard work schedule, this book was inspirational in many ways as I’ve been thinking about crowdfunding my own product idea. It is a great read for people looking for professional independence regardless of where in that journey they are (with a one-of-its-kind product already in mind, or with an open canvas instead).

An Actionable Short Read for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
“Launch in 5” is a concise, prescriptive guide for aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly appealing to those interested in side hustles or who are risk-averse. Initially slow, the book becomes engaging by the third chapter. It focuses on ‘Launch Marketing,’ offering straightforward, actionable advice for both pre and post-launch phases. Each chapter includes an anecdote, adding a real-world touch to the concepts discussed. Overall, it’s an insightful read for anyone starting their business journey. I would rate it 7/10.

Must Read for Anyone Launching a Product
This book is a no-nonsense guide on best practices for launching a business, written by someone who has done this time and time again.Reducing risk is a key strategy for those who want to be successful in business, but weren’t lucky enough to be born with a trust fund to support a bad business idea that hemorrhages cash.In this book, you’ll find step-by-step instructions for validating your idea in a low cost manner, which is a key step before dumping even more of your hard-earned capital into a launch. I’ve seen many starry-eyed entrepreneurs skip this step, and it is not pretty when it happens. There are many snake oil salesmen in the “how to launch a business” space. Will is amongst the rare who are not. Read this book for your own sake!

A must-have book for entrepreneurs with launch plans
Written with the solid knowledge born from experience, this book is a cut above the typical self-help business manual. Clear, straightforward and practical, it is essential reading for anyone planning to launch a business or product and will help them avoid both common and less obvious pitfalls. A bonus is Will Russell’s writing skill, possibly stemming from his British education, making this an enjoyable read too. This purchase was money very well spent.

Excellent book on starting a business
Having worked in the product launch space for many years at the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, there’s not much new I thought I could learn. This book surprised me though and taught me a lot about what goes on behind the scenes when running certain marketing strategies for launch campaigns. Overall, it’s a great read and I would recommend it to any entrepreneur thinking of launching a new product or business.

Take your idea to the next level!
I found this easier to understand than the many other business books I’ve read.Lots of good info on how to test a business idea to ensure it’s a good fit for the market before spending too much time or energy on it! It also touches on concepts that could apply to different businesses rather than focusing on one industry like many other books.Would recommend for anyone who has been sitting on an idea for their own business and is looking to take the next step!!

I set my own company up nearly 2 years ago and I wish I had had this book. While the author is in marketing, everything in this book is truly amazing for any start -up. Its clearly been well thought out and I honestly think this will help 100’s if not 1000’s of businesses ! Best money I have spent on amazon this year by far !
