One cable connection, overall great monitor
Very clear screen with good amount of brightness (unless you’re using it under the sun, which you shouldn’t). The one cable for connection makes it great for portability since the one usb-c to usb-c cable provides both power and display out. Works flawlessly with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 ports.Kickstand is great, allows it to work in a slightly angled portrait as well as landscape. If you’re using this with a laptop, bear in mind the GPU is now pushing more than twice the pixels into twice the number of monitors, so anticipate fast battery drainage. For the price, don’t expect viewing angles to be very wide (see second image with angled view).Excellent features for the price. Would buy another monitor from Arzopa again.

After a couple of months on the road using the Arzopa Z1RC monitor
I purchased the Arzopa Z1RC as a portable second screen while traveling, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. My priorities were accurate color rendering for photography work, solid portability, simple connectivity without extra power adapters, and an affordable price. This monitor delivers on all of those.Of course, expectations should be realistic — this isn’t a professional studio-grade monitor. But for working on the go, whether in the field or in a hotel room, it performs extremely well and has checked all the boxes for my needs.Setup is straightforward, and all necessary cables are included. Speaking of cables, I really appreciate the new U-shaped USB-C connector Arzopa now offers, as it creates a cleaner and more secure connection. I only wish that style of cable had been included from the start, since small adapters are easy to misplace when traveling. My only real critique is that the monitor doesn’t come with a protective sleeve or screen cover — something very useful for a device often tossed into a backpack with other gear. After a couple of months of use on the road, I’m consistently impressed with the flexibility and performance of this monitor. For photographers and travelers looking for a portable display that balances affordability, quality and convenience, the Arzopa Z1RC is a great option.

Solid travel monitor for 16:10 aspect ratio
So far I have been pleased with this monitor. It is light, works with my screen resolution and has great picture clarity. Having a one usb-c cable solution makes it that much easier to utilize for meetings and work. Overall this has been a great value.

Excellent Portable Monitor – Tip for Mac Users Included!
I recently ordered an Arzopa 16-inch portable monitor – model Z1RC, 2.5K resolution. It is an excellent, high-quality product that arrived well-packaged. I was immediately impressed by the sturdy metal casing, which feels durable and perfect for frequent travel. The display itself is very clear and has helped increase my productivity.Setup was simple and fast. Three cables were provided to ensure connectivity for almost any device: 1) USB-C to USB-C, 2) USB-A to USB-C, and 3) mini HDMI to HDMI. I found that I could connect to either my Lenovo T14 laptop or my Apple MacBook Air (M1) using the USB-C to USB-C cable.A critical note for Mac users: while the display is clear, I found that to fully utilize its high-resolution capabilities on my MacBook Air, I needed to install an application called “BetterDisplay.” Once this was installed, the monitor performed flawlessly. After several weeks of use, I remain very happy and satisfied with this purchase, finding it a great tool for dual-screen setups on the go.

Good for the price
Purchased to use for work when I’m traveling, so far it has been really good! As soon as you connect it to your laptop it turns on, no real lag compared to my monitor at home. The quality of the display is good, it’s clear and bright. The unit itself is really thin and lightweight.Overall super easy to use, all you need to carry is one cable for power, if you need something like this for work I’d recommend it.

Great monitor – large, clear, affordable, cables included!
Very pleased with this monitor so far – easy to connect via USB-C or HDMI.I had to use an external USB power-adapter in a couple cases, or else the screen flickered. And I’m trying to be extra careful with the seemingly-fragile support-leg, but so far so good! The size is a nice complement to my MacBook air, and should make for an excellent portable/emergency monitor.I appreciate the cables that were included in the box.

Surprisingly good Monitor, In spite of being a bit saturated (which I like)
Excellent monitor all around, checks all the boxes (sharp and vivid display, matte, high PPI, lightweight, power passthrough, button interface), except no headphone jack and full size HDMI, which is good enough for the price.

Impressive brightness and quality!
I was really impressed with this monitor. I wasn’t expecting anything exceptional given its low price point and the fact that it’s powered off just a 5V USB cable, but I vastly underestimated how great the quality would be. I expected to use it mainly for writing code but decided to test out a game and was blown away with how well it handled the graphics. I still don’t plan on using it much for gaming since it’s only 60hz and I have a gaming laptop, but it’s nice to know it’s a viable option. Another thing that surprised me was the brightness – again I wasn’t expecting it to be too impressive but I was wrong; I can’t even keep it at 100% because it’s TOO bright! I sometimes like to work outside and I think it’ll really come in handy for that – haven’t tried it yet. As for the build quality, it’s shockingly light but doesn’t feel fragile at all. So far the kickstand feels solid and has enough resistance to hold its position at any angle. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with my choice and I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor.

Works perfectly and seamlessly with my mac air. Anddd the quality of the print and the audio is superb as well. You’d think it’ll be a bit dull – the colors and all – but it delivers exactly how it’s produced in the main source. I’m glad I chose this unit as an extended monitor.

The Arzopa 2.5K Portable Monitor is the perfect portable monitor. I use this monitor as part of my mobile office setup allowing me to always have a dual monitor setup whether I’m working from home, the office or in a coffee shop. The quality of the monitor is fantastic for office work. The resolution and colours offer bright, vibrant and crystal clear images. The metal body design is sleek and rugged to protect it from bumps, especially since this monitor goes everywhere with me. The speakers though are a bit tingy, but audio isn’t why I bought this monitor. This product is the perfect mobile productivity companion for any person that is not looking for a monitor with good sound.

I bought the ARZOPA Z1RC 16″ 2.5K portable monitor for an overseas work trip. My main use case was working at various overseas locations, with the monitor acting as a secondary screen beside my Dell laptop. This included working at hotels, client offices, and occasionally airports while waiting for flights. For that setup, it worked extremely well. The most important thing to check before buying is whether your laptop’s USB-C port supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort (DP Alt Mode). If it does, you can run the monitor with a single USB-C cable that carries both power and video, which makes the travel setup very clean and simple. If your laptop does not support that, it is still perfectly usable. You simply use:USB-C cable for power, andHDMI cable for displayAll the necessary cables actually come in the box, which is nice and means you don’t need to buy anything extra to get started. That said, I strongly recommend buying the ARZOPA U-shaped USB-C cable separately. The ports on the monitor are located on the left side, so when I place the monitor on the right side of my laptop, a normal straight cable sticks out toward the laptop screen. The U-shaped cable bends toward the back of the portable monitor and then toward the right, which keeps the cable neatly out of the way and makes the side-by-side setup much cleaner. The build quality is very good. The casing appears to be aluminium, which makes it feel more solid than many of the cheaper plastic portable monitors. It is slightly more expensive than the basic plastic models, but in this case you get what you pay for. The buttons for brightness, contrast and settings feel very clicky and well made, not mushy like on some budget displays. The main selling point of this monitor is the 2.5K resolution (2560×1600) on a 16:10 IPS panel, which gives slightly more vertical workspace than standard 16:9 screens.Text does look a bit sharper than a standard 1080p portable monitor, although I wouldn’t say the difference is huge. It is noticeable, especially when working with documents or spreadsheets. The refresh rate is 60 Hz, which might seem basic compared with gaming monitors, but for office work it is perfectly sufficient. In fact, this can be a good thing if you are working away from power because lower refresh rates draw less battery from your laptop. I often used it in places like airports or lounges while running entirely on laptop battery. When I first set it up, I used these display settings:Brightness: 100Resolution: 2560 × 1600Scaling: 150%Without scaling the text was too small to read comfortably. For comparison, my Dell laptop screen runs at 1920×1080 with 125% scaling, so 150% on the portable monitor felt about right.Overall, this is a very practical travel monitor for productivity. It is lightweight, well built, and the higher resolution makes it a nice companion to a laptop when working overseas.Hope this review helps someone considering it.
