I’m constantly on the road, driving between different cities. My Tesla is basically my second office. I usually drive in Autopilot mode, so I really care about how everything inside the car is set up — I want it clean, functional, and comfortable.I’ve tried a bunch of phone mounts before, and honestly, most of them didn’t last long. Either they were too weak, or they fell off after a few days — especially when mounted behind the Tesla screen, which can be a tricky spot. Then I came across this one, looks nice, and decided to give it a shot. Glad I did, because this thing is awesome.Installation was super easy. I cleaned the surface behind the screen, used the genuine 3M adhesive pad that came with it, pressed it for a few minutes, and wait for 8 hours, then use it. It was stuck on solid, the adhesive feels serious. The next day, I drove out to one of my warehouses, hit a few bumpy backroads, and the mount didn’t even budge. The phone stayed perfectly steady. That’s when I knew I’d found a keeper.Design-wise, it’s spot-on. It sits nicely behind the screen — doesn’t block my view, doesn’t get in the way of the controls, and honestly looks like it belongs there. The style matches Tesla’s clean, modern interior really well. The joint and angle adjustments are smooth, and the grip strength is just right. I switch between landscape and portrait modes for navigation and calls — it handles both like a champ.I often take calls or quick video meetings from the car (always while Autopilot’s on 😅). Strong, clean “hidden” MagSafe mount for my Model 3
Installed this on my 2021 Tesla Model 3 (mounted on the back of the touchscreen) and it’s been excellent. The magnet is genuinely strong—my iPhone 15 Pro (MagSafe case) snaps into place and stays put over bumps and quick turns. I also like the foldable design: when I’m not using it, I can tuck it away so the cabin still looks minimal and nothing blocks the display. The ball joint makes it easy to set a good angle for navigation.Notes: prep/placement matters—clean the surface well and press firmly so the adhesive bonds. Also, very thick cases may reduce the magnetic hold (the included rings help if your case isn’t MagSafe).

Too many magnetic mounts claim to work but most do not work on cell phone cases. The most popular magnetic mounts I see requires you to install an O-ring onto your phone for it to work. This bracket does not need an O-ring or anything metallic added to the case as it sticks to cases.
