Installed in minutes. I was a little worried about the thickness of the plastic. After installation I was surprised it is very sturdy. This is in a 2013 ram 1500 sport. It works great. I just hold the mount and slide my phone off. I added the metal ring to my existing Sampson S25fe. It also works great.

I purchased this phone holder for my 2020 Ram 1500 with the 8.4” screen. It required a bit of strength to latch on initially, but once installed, it fit perfectly. It’s extremely sturdy and holds my phone in an ideal position without blocking airflow or causing any damage to the AC vent—something I was initially worried about.I recently traded my truck for a 2024 Ram with the 12” screen, which isn’t compatible with this particular model. That said, I was pleased to find that the manufacturer offers a version made specifically for that setup. I’ll be ordering the new one ASAP.Highly recommend!

Needed modification
Would not snap into place on my 23 Ram. It was the correct product but wouldnt snap in. Attached it with double sided tape. Works as advertised

Had a hard time finding a phone mount in a good spot for my 2020 Ram 1500 Sport, saw this one when I was researching and it is perfect. Didn’t have to do any modifications, it clicked right into the factory sections and that’s all she wrote.The only reason I dont give it a 5 star is that me personally if I designed it I would put a thin rubber cushion where it rests on the top to prevent any scratches from possibly happening for whatever reason. Other than that it’s great.
