Great little gadget. Very versatile and easy to work with. I purchased a second one to use with other magnetic devices. Strong mangnet, the hinges loosen over time but you can always tighten them again if needed.Holds my phone at the gym and while taking pictures or recording almost anywhere. Even on non metal surfaces it works perfectly as a on the go stand. I even use it as a O ring to hold my phone when scrolling.

Strong construction, strong hinges and magnets
Very sturdy magnet stand, good quality. Magnets are also very strong. In the first stand I received the glue was not enough under magnets and after the first attempt to attach the mount to a fridge, magnets came out. However the seller was extremely helpful, responded me the same date and send a replacement. The replacement mount had no issues with glue, so I can recommend it. The mount has multiple several hinges, so you can freely rotate it in many ways – very convenient and versatile.

My phone case already magnetic ring so test was short and quick. Wow, magnets on both ends are really powerful. With one Mag Ring on a swivel it’s positions are endless.

Best version of this type of device (pricey imo)
This thing is great because you can rotate one of the heads and have side-by-side phones AND it has 1/4 thread for mounting on either head or near the middle. I think it’s still pricey but seems to have the best pricing out there especially for its versatility. I bought a second and actually have this holding TWO 15.6 inch portable monitors. I stuck a mag ring on each one and have it on a repurposed tablet holder arm. (I took off the head on the tablet arm that mounts under a desk or table and threaded THIS mag mount in the middle and it holds one monitor normal and the other upside down (flipped landscape to correct orientation). **Warning, do NOT PULL off, slide your devices off and this ring mount should last** BONUS- you can tighten the little screws (hex socket head) and this thing wont budge from how you position it! (again, its holding TWO 15.6 inch monitors, the weakest point is the sticky mag ring sliding off a device, NOT this mount)

If you don’t mind the bulk on your phone; it’s a REALLY cool tool.I’ve bought 3 versions of this style of stand. This one is the lowest-profile, with the MOST articulation.Magnets are decently powerful. They secure to the phone very well. HOWEVER; they did begin to peel out of the ring ‘housing’ after sticking to a metal doorway a little TOO well.After only a month or 2 of use; this was mildly disappointing. However, a very thin layer of superglue inside of the ring, and something heavy to secure the magnets down; and it returned to full functionality.Other than the weakness of whatever the original adhesive is; construction is of acceptable quality. Certainly worth the price for all its function. But again, don’t complain when it increases the thickness of your phone by 2x or greater.

I didn’t actually realize all the attachments this came with for tripod use when I ordered it. I also love that it can be retightened with an included allen key over time since my other phone stands tend to lose tension after a few months. Good strong magnets. Just a little bulky, so less ideal for constant use, but small enough to fit in pockets and bring along anywhere without being a burden

Not useful for portable applications.
This item is study and well made BUT, it’s too bulky to fit in your pocket weighing in with a thickness of 0’6”. It does not securely attach to your phone and easily transfers from your phone to a variety of other metal objects. Think: your car door, shop tools or even a metal tray you eat your dinner on. On several occasions, I found it missing and had to search for it, only to have it turn up on some other metal item. I can’t recommend it unless you plan to use it in a stable, fixed location.
