    Wow. Honestly.
I wish I had thought to take before/after photos of the KP I’ve dealt with on my thighs for most of my life. I have tried several other (and, in many cases, more expensive) products that claim to specifically combat KP over the years. Some of them even include many of the same ingredients as FAB’s KP eraser scrub. Many exfoliants or acid acne treatments have similar components as well. I have to tell you, though: I never, not even once, noticed any positive change or results from using other products that claimed the same target.** Please note that KP is not the same thing as enlarged pores, folliculitis, razor bumps, dry/itchy winter skin, or body acne; eczema, psoriasis, allergies, and infections (fungal types or ingrown hairs can become infected) can overlap, exacerbate, or mimic symptoms and appearance, but KP is it’s own thing, usually genetic, that causes excess keratin to build up around and sometimes block a hair follicle. You may see some improvement or not if you have another condition and are using this to help. If you have a chronic skin condition of any kind, see a dermatologist or other expert to know for certain what you’re dealing with, before attempting to treat your skin. **My KP was much worse in my youth on my extremely fair skin. I resigned myself early in life to never really showing my legs unless forced. Now that I’ve tried this, I actually stand a chance of wanting to wear a pair of shorts one of these days and not feel nearly as self-conscious. I noticed an immediate difference in the texture of my skin and the reduction of my more troubling KP bumps where the keratin plug/hair follicle was particularly noticeable or pigmented and raised. FIRST USE RESULTS. And I’m not so easily impressed, but I’ve been loving it more and more as time goes by, so it wasn’t simply honeymoon phase. The exfoliant has what I can only describe as a gritty, almost cement-like texture and appearance straight from the tube, a little stiffer than toothpaste and salt mixed together, less granular than sugar scrubs to me. You don’t need a lot of it even for large problem areas — it has good mileage/coverage — and you don’t really need to scrub to death (in fact, not recommended; this buffs away what needs to go and includes pumice bits so you don’t necessarily need a pumice stone or anything). I use it on the areas in question or affected and nowhere else — I have body washes and other such stuff for the rest of my body… This is made for KP and that’s what I target. The first time, I used maybe a half-inch amount on each inner thigh, spread it gently with my fingers, and then used my pumice stone in small light circles over the most troublesome areas. Since then, I’ve only been using my konjac sponge, and a little less product overall. I go through the rest of my shower routine making sure to wash it away properly but I don’t use other exfoliants or scrubs on these areas. I have sensitive (redhead) skin and don’t want to make it any more sensitive and prone to sunburn than it already is without the help of a vague chemical peel. Still, twenty minutes after showering, I can feel the areas tingling lightly, and that’s how I know the magic is truly happening at the level it needs to be happening on. It doesn’t burn, itch, or irritate at all, and doesn’t leave any dryness or any build-up in it’s wake. It also doesn’t have any detectable smell. Even though I could still see the more irritated, raised KP bumps, the texture and feel was so remarkably different and reduced, I could hardly believe my fingers. For me, this is huge, because if I can FEEL the bumps, I’m prone to picking at the larger ones until I’ve gone from little keratin bumps to full bloody sores.Using this scrub about twice a week, for almost 2 months now, I’m amazed at the new texture of my troubled areas. I’ve even noticed an overall reduction in the development of new plugs which I thought would never be the case. Yes, I tried it once on a rough patch at my elbow and it smoothed it out, as any good exfoliant likely would, but I’m not wasting this miraculous stuff on anything but my KP bumps.

    Product worked well—for me 🙂
The product smoothing the affected areas of my skin was almost immediately noticeable. First-week noticeable. HIGHLY refreshing, as I haven’t felt my arms feel smooth since I was a kid. The appearance of my skin became better shortly after the texture became better. I’d say week 2, when my skin became noticeably less bumpy. SIGNIFICANTLY less red, which was also very refreshing. My skin is also less sensitive now, a brush of my arm on a wall and it’d become red. That doesn’t happen anymore. I highly recommend . I also recommend not using super-chemically-scented lotions after application. I’d recommend something lighter. I personally use Native, and it works well for me. Anyway, great for the price—I recommend.

Strong exfoliator that helps with bumps and ingrowns
This scrub is definitely not gentle, but that’s exactly why it works. It’s a strong exfoliator designed for bump removal and ingrown hairs, and it does the job well.I use it specifically on problem areas and noticed smoother skin and fewer bumps with consistent use. A little goes a long way, and it’s important not to overuse it because it’s very effective. If you’re dealing with stubborn bumps or ingrown hairs and need something more intense, this is a great option.

Worked for me immediately! So thrilled!
Like many others have said, I tried many other types of products recommended by my dermatologist, with nothing really helping my kp bumps. I’ve developed them later in life, possibly as side effect of medication. Anyhow, decided to try this as there so many reviews raving about how it works, and I’m very happy to report back that it really did work on my bumps! I can now feel softer skin on my legs where they were bumpy and gross to the touch. This was after first use even! Now I use it maybe once or twice a week, little bit goes a long way and it tingles so you can tell immediately. I am so amazed and relieved!

    Effective for aggressive KP
I rarely write reviews unless it is significant. I suffer from aggressive KP on my arms and legs also lower back. After 3 weeks and continuing use this product along with appropriate moisturizers, this has truly cleared my skin to where it is barely noticeable i can go sleeveless again. Follow a routine and dont scrub too hard it will irritate it more. Trust the process

    Doesn’t work for KP
This didn’t help my KP but it did make my skin smooth. Man did it make my skin feel smooth! . But definitely no improvement with KP which is end say it is supposed to do. Would not recommend if you want results and you coo you have smooth skin with a more affordable option. Use for 5 months until the whole big bottle was used. Also make my skin red sometimes and takes a lot of effort to scrub. Would not buy again

    CHANGED my life.
Those razor burn bumps you get that almost look like permanent goosebumps on your legs? The little arm bumps of KP along your arms? Consider them VANISHED with this product. My husband has said to me how much my legs in particular have completely changed. They are so smooth after a shave you almost can’t believe it. I don’t use any fancy razor or shaving cream either. It’s literally just applying this after a shave. For maintenance I will use this after a shave, the day before I shave, and then every other day or so until I shave my legs again. It seems pricey, but, I would pay TRIPLE the true price just for the results I get- that’s how much I swear by this. It’s worth every penny, maybe even more.It doesn’t irritate skin (my skin is very sensitive)- that said, I don’t buy the one that has scents. I know they sell some of this with a strawberry? Smell. I’m sure it smells great. But for true sensitive skin/razor burn prone/KP bumps. This will change your entire life.I used to be embarrassed in shorts bc you could visibly notice the bumps on my legs even after a fresh shave. Now it’s like I WANT people to look and feel my legs. That’s how incredible they look using this product. If I could only recommend one product for the rest of my life- it is THIS one. I will FOREVER be a customer.

I’ve been using the First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Body Scrub for my KP and I actually like it even though it doesn’t completely remove the bumps. It makes my skin feel much smoother right after using it. The texture of the scrub feels nice on the skin.It hasn’t completely cleared my KP but it does help improve the texture and overall feel. My skin feels smoother after using it.
