Perfect for two. Poaches and cooks eggs in the shell the way you want, consistently. Just adjust the water level. An on/off switch would be helpful. Just the right size to hide away when not in use. Nice looking. Quite.

This is a great little product. I use it almost daily. I love making egg bites for breakfast. I can add spices or cheese and they are ready in about 6 minutes. I pop them in a ziplock and toss them in my lunch bag. Sometimes I put them on an English muffin with a piece of cheese. I also use them weekly for hard boiled eggs for salads and snacks. Works great. So easy and perfect eggs. The color is cute and it is easy to store, although it just stays on the counter. We have chickens, so eggs are a staple.

I bought this to replace another electric egg cooker (that came with a plastic dome), and I’m happier with this one. It’s easy to make egg bites, though they don’t quite turn out like the sous vide bites sold at a major coffee chain (texture is a bit different, spongier). You really can’t beat the convenience: instead of standing over a stove to make scrambled eggs, I pour them in and go do the Wordle while they cook. I primarily got it for the hard boiled egg feature. It accomodates XL eggs (my old one did not). It also makes perfectly jammy medium-boiled eggs (this is how my wife likes her eggs). I used this to make deviled eggs for Thanksgiving, and it made it really, really easy. My only complaint: why not have a chime or ding when the eggs are done? On this one, a light cuts off to alert you that it’s done and that’s it. It does get quiet when it’s close to being done (steaming/boiling noise to quiet), but if you’re not paying attention you might get discolored yolks or overdone eggs.

Love this little gizmo — easy poached eggs and egg bites
This is a great kitchen tool. Easy to use, but you have to follow the ratios of egg to milk and also the amount of water in the bottom area.I love throwing in a variety of spices or cheeses. One thing I do most of the time is to add a tablespoon of cream cheese. 😋Some are concerned because it does not have a timer. But I found a workaround by making the egg bites and setting my stopwatch to get the typical amount of time it takes. It also is likely to have a hard water residue in the bottom compartment, which is no big deal — I appreciate the other reviews warning me about this.I think this could make a nice gift for someone who loves SB egg bites.

Great tool, but rusted out after a few uses 🙁
So, I love this thing. But unfortunately after using it a few times the bottom water reservoir area has completely rusted out. No when I cook hard boiled eggs they have a layer of rust all over the bottom. Disappointing because otherwise it is a fantastic product. the hard-boiled eggs peel like a dream and the egg bites turn out light and fluffy. And it is SO easy to use. I have never had an issue with this brands products before, so I think maybe mine is just a fluke. But still3 stars because I think it is a really useful and efficient tool to have. We eat a lot of eggs in our family so we will be trying again and upgrading to the “Plus” version of this product. I would still recommend this product. From other reviews this doesn’t seem to be a common problem.
