Run on Red: Deluxe Stenciled Edges
Two women marshal their wits, strength, and resiliency to turn the tables on their tormenters in this harrowing, gut-wrenching thriller for fans of Freida McFadden, Robyn Harding, and Clémence Michallon.
*Now a deluxe edition paperback with gorgeous stenciled edges!*
A rural country road. No cell signal for miles. A terrifying game of cat-and-mouse.
By the time Laura and Olivia notice the headlights tailing them through the hills, it’s too late. What seems, at first, like a case of road rage quickly unfolds into a heart-pounding chase—and a battle for survival.
Who are the men in the truck? What do they want? And can Laura and Olivia outrun—and outsmart—them long enough to call for help, even if it means taking their chances in the hills on foot?
As their situation grows more perilous, the girls realize that the real terror has only just begun. But flight won’t save them from their pursuers. If they’re going to make it home alive, they’ll have to fight.
A breakneck tale of female strength, resourcefulness, and power, Run on Red will linger in readers’ minds long after the last page is turned.

MY HEART NEVER LEFT MY THROAT!!!
Noelle Ihli never misses, and this book is the perfect example of why! I was hooked within the first few pages and did not put it down until the very last one — read it in a single sitting! Two women, a rural road, no cell signal, and relentless pursuers. That’s all it takes for Ihli to create an absolutely heart-thumping, white-knuckle thrill ride. The pacing is relentless in the best way possible. If you haven’t discovered Noelle Ihli yet, start here. You won’t regret it.

A Great Escapist Read
This was a solid pick for escapist reading. The story launches straight into the action and never really lets up, which makes it a fast, compelling read.I liked that the plot keeps you in the middle of the chaos for quite a while without explaining exactly what’s happening. That lack of context actually ramps up the creep factor and keeps the tension high. The story is told from the point of view of Olivia, a young college student. She and her friend are driving out to a party in an extremely remote area as the sun goes down. Along the way, a fast-moving truck suddenly appears behind them, flashing its lights and driving aggressively. What starts as a tense encounter quickly becomes something far more dangerous. It becomes clear very quickly that two young women alone on a desolate road in the middle of nowhere are in serious trouble. From there, the tension escalates quickly. We experience everything through Olivia’s voice as things go from bad to worse, and she starts pulling from every true crime blog and survival show she’s ever absorbed. She’s clever and brave, but in a way that feels believable rather than over-the-top.The story carried me all the way through to the end. I’m picky about endings—if they drag on too long, I notice immediately—and this one comes close to that line, but it doesn’t quite cross it.This book isn’t going to win the Nobel Prize for literature, but if you enjoy thrillers or suspense, you’ll definitely get a tense ride down a dark, lonely road with this one.Overall: yes, I’d recommend it with thanks to the author for a great afternoon escape,

Was good but not great
It was an all around okay book. There was so much focus on the events it felt like it was starting to drag on. Figuring out the assailants wasn’t much of a guess but I did enjoy it nonetheless.

Obsessed!
I discovered this author after picking up Ask For Andrea. I immediately became obsessed with the writing style and had to read more. This story had me at the edge of my seat and I finished the book in one day. I would have given it 5 stars but the end seemed to be rather abrupt. I would have liked a little more. Overall, a great read and I highly recommend it!

Absolutely terrifying!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟The first few chapters had my heart pounding and my anxiety totally off the charts. I literally had to put the book down and reset myself! No joke!Laura and Olivia are on their way to a bonfire. That is, if their piece of junk Volvo can withstand the drive up the dark and deserted mountain road. But things are about to take a dreadful turn when two men in a large truck start tailgating them. No -where to turn off… no cell service. Who are these maniacs? Can the two girls outrun them?Wow! I feel completely out of breath after finishing this book. Short chapters that ended with spine-chilling cliff-hangers, maintaining relentless tension. Seriously, it never let up!This book rattled me to the core! Absolutely chilling!I’ll never drive alone down a remote road again in my life!✍️ Noelle Ihli📄 288 pages🗓️ Available now📈 5/5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👉 Thriller, suspense

Run on Red by Noelle Ihli: Book Review 📖
Book review: ⭐⭐⭐How it made me feel: 😭🫨🤐🤯This book had me on the edge of my seat! Laura and Olivia were headed to a party in the middle of nowhere when headlights in the rear-view mirror became their terror. Who are the men in the truck? What do they want? Can they outrun them and survive? The cat and mouse chase comes to an end with both of them being taken by them, and the reason why is shocking. In my opinion at first, it took awhile for me to get intrigued but when I did, I wanted to know what happened every step of the way. I think it was written very well and the ending was a shocker but a great outcome. I also thought that the reason for the cat and mouse game and why they took the girls could have been laid out better and a had a little bit of a back story to it.

They Thought They Were Going to a Bonfire…
Run on Red delivers a high-intensity survival horror that starts with a terrifying roadside chase and quickly escalates into something much darker. It’s fast-paced, emotionally intense, and grounded in real-world terror, which made it all the more disturbing. The villains in this story are horrifying because they feel real. There’s no mask to hide behind, just calculated cruelty and a system designed to exploit. I appreciated how the book explored difficult topics like trauma, predatory culture, and survival without ever slowing down the momentum. This wasn’t a slow burn. It’s nonstop dread and adrenaline, with just enough emotional depth to make you care deeply about the outcome. The final chapters gave the kind of justice readers crave, and while it didn’t blow me away with a twist, it left me satisfied.Definitely recommend it if you like thrillers with guts, grit, and no fluff.

Thoroughly enjoyed the level of suspense in this book. I read it as quick as I could because I just needed to know what happened. The end kind of deflated a bit for me hence why it lost a star but still pretty damn good and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a quick and enjoyable thriller.

Oh my God… I couldn’t put the book down!! I was sitting on the edge of my seat for the entire duration, with my heart in my mouth!!! Loved the author’s style of writing, could see all the scenes playing out in front my eyes. Hope someone makes a movie based on it 😊 Now I am going to read the other books written by her ❤️

So, I kept hearing a lot about the author, which was ahy I thought I should give it a try. And it did not disappoint.I would say the story was no typical thriller, as in, to me, it felt more like one of those old black-and-white horror movies. But that was not a bad thing. I was on the edge of my seat, and everytime I thought I would get a break, I needed to read ‘just one more chapter’! Needless to say, I got all of her other books as well after finishing this one.
