This mega-motavating book is SO amazingly helpful in causing one to achieve and/or maintain a positive outlook on life,that you’ll find yourself taking it along with you EVERYwhere you go! In fact,you’ll find it nigh-impossible to NOT want it handy for you to”medicate”your mind with its’motivating(and oh,so TRUTHFUL)thoughts on taking a positive perspective on lifes’ adversities,whenever they occurr!!Just recently I’d walked a long way(in freezing temperatures)to the local post office to mail an important document and encountered much”irritation”from the manner in which business was conducted there,in addition to misplacing the address(I’d written on a piece of paper)I was to mail to,which caused me further frustration,to the point of hot-IRE,at which point I walked out without accomplishing my goal,then as I sat in an empty field a few doors down FUMING,and began reading from this book(which I fortunately carried with me)I came across a passage saying:”You’ll ALWAYS get an idea,if you THINK and don’t PANIC.” So I immediately calmed myself and began thinking carefully about my every move before I left home,when I realized that the address was not lost en-route to the post office,but had been left lying on my bed,where I’d copied the address onto it!! So I was eventually able to mail this important document by keeping my composure to ascertain the situation!! Days later my red Doberman”MANGLED”my rare,vintage(and absolute FAVORITE hat in my entire LIFE)”MCM”visor which cost me much more money than I currently have available to me,even IF(but there’s not)there existed another such visor on the planet!! So initially I thought that the positive outlook/happiness which I’d gained in the last few months,from reading(and implementing)Dr Peales’writings/techniques on maintaining a positive attitude,would not be able to”carry”me through this Christmas season happily after suffering such a”loss”!! But just as despair/”resignation”began to set-in,I read two seperate passages in this book which reignited hope in me:”Believe it is possible TO solve your problem…Tremendous things happen TO the BELIEVER…So BELIEVE the answer will COME. It WILL.” and:”The tough-minded optimist views ANY problem AS a challenge to HIS intelligence,INGENUITY and faith..He KEEPS on thinking,praying AND believing…He KNOWS there IS a solution….And so,HE finally FINDS it.” After reading these”gems”,I began to launch a concentrated mental ONSLAUGHT against this delimma!! Since obtaining another such cap is highly unlikely,I decided I’d”patch”/repair the one I have,with”MCM”material from a big bag and I even made my visor BETTER than it was BEFORE the red Dobermans onset,by carefully”patching”all the holes,rends and tears that the savage Doberman inflicted on it!!!! By realizing that there WAS a viable solution to this problem,I THOUGHT hard ON it,prayed ABOUT it,and BELIEVED a good option WOULD certainly present itself,and it DID!! Just recently I couldn’t locate two reciept for items I have in”layaway”and I feared that if I didn’t make another payment on them before 30 days expired,they might be”pulled”…So I read this positive thought for July 27:”Put your trust in God and just go calmly on your way.” So,I asked the Lord to reveal to me where these reciepts were,in time to make payment and continue the”layaway”(which I believed/feared was already a week delinquent)…So instead of continually worrying about”forfeiting”the”layaway”,I calmed my mind,CONFIDENT that my Lord and Savior would surely cause matters to turn out in my favor…He DID indeed,as I promptly”happened upon”the reciepts and saw that I actually had another TWO weeks yet,to make the monthly payment!! Also,because SO many in the clergy have”abused”/concentrated SOLELY on,the message of”prosperity’,even turning it into a(stand-alone)DOCTRINE,many believers have become reluctant to even utter the”P”-word!!But a real truth concerning prosperity was included into this book:”Prosperity is not ALWAYS,or even USUALLY to BE concieved of IN terms of MONEY,but as a CONSTANT flow of Gods’ BLESSINGS.” This book has been aiding me in a MULTITUDE of ways since obtaining it!! Get yours TOO,to have a spiritual”pocket counselor”ready to help you keep peaceful and hopeful!! GREAT book!!

Speaks about God in full length and in full depth.My favorite quote is January 12th’s.My most disliked quote is may 30th’s.I firmly believe everyday you shall wish to make godly decisions and think positively in God’s image and with his agility and strength in use you shall.

I first picked up one of Norman Vincent Peale’s books just over a year ago, Positive Thinking. At first I was a little bit put off by the religious content and didn’t read the book until recently. This time around I embraced the religious content and really got into the book. This small pocket book reference combines daily mantras from his positive thinking book. They are great reminders to read at any time of day, any day. I would however recommend reading the Positive Thinking book as it has so many wonderful insights and can change the way you view the world, your whole attitude, outlook and life.
