This book pulled me in pretty quickly
This book pulled me in pretty quickly. I love a suspense story where you can feel that something isn’t right from the start, but you’re not sure how it’s all going to come together. This one definitely had that slow, uneasy buildup that kept me reading.I liked the way the story switches perspectives because it added to the tension and kept things from feeling flat. There were moments where I thought I had it figured out, then realized I really didn’t. Some parts were a little predictable, but not enough to take away from the overall story. Once the pace picked up, it really picked up, and I flew through the last part.I also liked the darker, psychological tone. It wasn’t just about what was happening, but why, which made it more interesting. The ending wrapped things up well, even though I wouldn’t have minded a little more shock value. What really helped is knowing this is part of a series. There are two more books, almost dead and you betrayed me and this one did a good job making me want to keep going. I’m definitely planning to read the rest to see how everything fully plays out.Overall, this was a solid, twisty thriller. Not my absolute favorite, but good enough that I’m invested in the series and want to see what happens next. A good pick if you like suspense, secrets, and slow-burn tension.

Just OK, slow moving thriller!
Ok read. It moved very slowly and the last 10 pages seemed to try to tie everything together very quickly! Also, unbelievable story line!

Intriguing and gripping!
If She Only Knew is a mystery full of surprises and secrets with a love story intertwined into the tale of a rich family and their children.I found this story engaging but got a little confused at times until all was explained. There were a few unsavory characters that I wanted out of the picture but loved one son of the Cahill’s, Nick, who stood on his own two feet and by his own rules. He didn’t live like the rest of the family in the lap of luxury. This author creates captivating and intriguing plots with plenty of the unique elements that keep readers interested and wanting more.

I guessed correctly from the firstchapter
This was a good read and the author has a great way of building suspense. Several times She threw me off the truth which made it fast and absorbing. However , I do feel some of the characters did not seem totally believable. Monty especially bothered me and his physical absence was a clear hint that he was part of the crime. I also thought the way he spoke did not jibe with his class and appearance. He was totally obvious as central to the evil plot. I was thrown off by the cowboy brother who said Marla, who he had an affair with before she wed the brother was, indeed the same woman as the amnesiac Marla. Was he that stupid at 23? Marla was always self absorbed and grasping. Why was he surprised she dumped him for Alex? And why was Kylie driving the Mercedes? Was Pam drunk or sick? I tried to find this info but never did. I did, however, like the fact that Donald did not get the girl pregnant. He was weak and money grubbing but not a sexual stalker. I will read Lisa again. But I still have reservations. Loved the detective.
