Delightful!
As if I wasn’t addicted to this series since the first page of the first book, this new one comes along. It’s one of those books that kept me up all night to read it, I could not put it down. Ivy is a great character but is also surrounded by other great characters who all come together to create this amazing story, which I sincerely hope has more to it. Thrown into the chaos of her dead husband’s deception, Ivy starts on a fantastic adventure filled with mysteries of the past and excitement of discovering them all while trying to survive. It’s a breathless series of events that are hopeful and heartwarming. I really love this group that comes together and somehow they all are intricately weaved together and enrich each others lives. Ivy and her family are the type of family that I am sure everyone wishes they had, from Shelly that we get to see a lot of to their siblings to Sunny her spoiled daughter. Even Sunny adds to this book in a good way. I especially love the historical discoveries that come about and gives the inn a magical quality. One of my favorite series of all time.

I love this series
I love this series. I’ve read books one through three back to back and now heading the the Christmas one. I love the characters and each of their personalities. The history of the house and the surprise that keep popping up is fanciting. I love how everyone in the town came to love Ivy and kind of protected her. It’s a great, enjoyable read.

Ivy and Shelly’s latest adventure involves the settling of old scores and new beginnings of the heart. Several longstanding conflicts and misunderstandings are resolved while new ones crop up. The drama never ends in Summer Beach but kind hearts, reaching out to hurt people, and forgiveness play a big role in this uplifting and feel-good series.I find myself identifying with the characters, especially Poppy. Obviously, Poppy did what I thought she’d do because that’s what I would have done and have done. I like how each story wraps up several subplots while opening a few others to be continued. Onto the next one!

I loved the whole series soooo much! The characters, the romance, the mystery, the intrigue and a klepto dog, what more could a reader want? I’m sad that this is the end of the series, but these might just go into the list of books that I read over again in a year or so.

Book 3 Shelly has returned to NYC, bratty and spoiled daughter Sunny has returned
Book 3 finds the high summer season going strong with the variance allowing Ivy and Shelly to operate as a Bed and Breakfast; they feel the success will allow them to pay the back tax bill. When Darla starts a lawsuit against the town and Ivy and Ivy’s spoiled daughter Sunny shows up, you can’t help but wonder what will happen. I have to say if my daughter charged all that money on my credit card I wouldn’t have handled it as quietly as Ivy did. Sunny also doesn’t like the attention that Bennett is showing Ivy. Meanwhile Shelly has returned to NYC. Another surprise is awaiting the reader.
