    Excellent!
One of the most refreshing plots that I’ve read in a while! This was a romcom in the very best way. I would love to see this as a screenplay in a Hallmark movie. Brenda, Colin, Zara and Millie Jones were portrayed as a solid family unit with love and passionate at their core that helped them to overcome life long secrets and throw away their scripted lives for the lives they deserved.Eileen, Gary and Aiden rounded out this story adding the tension that was needed to make this a five star read along with Ada and gorgeous Trevor. This is the first book that I’ve read by Shari Low but it will not be my last. If you’re looking for a heart warming contemporary story ( no paranormal or time traveling although I do enjoy those stories) then I recommend One Moment in Time. A very good read.

Coffee and a good read on my Kindle
Oh, this was so much fun to read. So charming and funny, it had me from start to finish. So many emotions and characters and “one moment in time” that changes everything. This story was about two families on opposite sides of the ocean that shared a secret that when revealed would change their lives forever. As I read I could just hear in my head the Scottish accents. This is my first book written by Shari Low. I need to check out more by her; and you should check out and read this one. Highly recommend.

    A winner
Funny, fast paced, couldn’t put it down kind of book. Loved the characters and their sense of humor. Albeit the language, which I would prefer to live without,, I stuck with it and glad i did because i’m a sucker for happy endings. Would be a great hallmark movie (without the f bombs)

    I almost didn’t finish this…
I’m sorry to be harsh, but if you’re like me, and expect something polished and well written, you’ll be disappointed. (And, if a book is marketed as funny, I expect to laugh at least once. The humour, for me, was non-existent.) The story was easy to predict, but that’s to be expected from this kind of story. Nothing suprised me – okay – but it was also plodding and full of repetition and ‘explanations’. This is a type of writing that I find irritating. The author seems to not believe that we’ve already understood the characters and the background that’s already been established. The sister in the story was so unlikeable that I almost stopped reading just because of her reprehensible behaviour, and I’m not referring just to her constant, alcohol fuelled bed-hopping. She comes across as selfish and self-absorbed, not being in the least bit supportive, but claiming credit when it suits her. The fact that the rest of the family seem to find this endearing was really grating as well. This really wasn’t a great read for me, I’m sorry to say. I’m bewildered by so many 5 star ratings. I feel that I’m being generous with 3. Two and a half would be about right, IMHO.

    Wonderful and sweet
Grabbed this book on a whim because the cover was so charming and I am so glad that I did! Wonderful and sweet without being over the top. I fell in love with the characters (well, except two of them, but you’re not meant to love that lot! Lol). Follows a very predictable pattern, but otherwise just lovely, not one negative thing to say!

    Lighthearted read
Twists and turns but fun to read. A wacky cast of characters that keep you guessing about the outcome for all of them.

Absolutely loved it! Smashing surprise and fun
This story was so different and the characters so quirky and fun! I couldn’t predict from one minute to the next what was going on and it was so entertaining to go along for the non-stop amazing storytelling ride! Lots and lots of unexpected story loops, human strengths and frailties that led to out-loud laughs and, yes, some tears! So well written and enjoyable. A Simply lovely and unexpected gift from Shari Low. Very much looking forward to more offerings of her unique style and writing talent.

    Fun, light read.
If you are looking for a book with funny characters and a delightful plot this is a book for you. I read this book in 3 sittings and was surprised there were some twists I hadn’t predicted. My first book by this author. Well written with characters you can relate to

A suspense novel and a real page turner without a gun or a dead body. Not only that but set in the US of A!! I marvelled at the skill of the author. The plot was all plausible and her characters were real, consistent and lovable. The humour throughout was superb. When reading the book I missed the Scottish accent! Can’t have everything.

Absolute Leseempfehlung!!!

Draws you in very quickly, is a really lovely read. Shows you life really is for living, and sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone.

Nice story line all tied up in the end. Easy to read as the characters were separate from each other by telling their stories in different chapters
