An Unexpected Kindness
Illness has taken away too much from little Alicia and her brother, Chris. Those are things that are out of their control. Who can blame them, then, when they accept the apparent kindness of strangers?
The Crawford couple makes a good show of their charitable deeds, but behind closed doors, it is clear everything is not as it seems.
When Alicia’s little brother, Chris, disappears, she is quick to blame the brute of the group. But blame gets you nowhere, as she soon learns.
Is Chris safe? Will Alicia find him?

Yolanda Goodwin –
Kindness
This book was about loss, grief, and finding love. The Crawford’s way of life is disgusting. Finding kids down on their luck homeless, dirty and hungry and used them to their advantage. This was my first time reading from this author, and I look forward to reading more from her. I recommend this book.

Learning life
A four star read that gives information of young lives growing up on the streets of London. Its hard to imagine the difficult times they had to deal with. As young as 3years old and having to help raise the family. God was on their side.
Marilyn Hiller –
excellent storyline
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, it was so well written i had a hard time putting it down even though I had other things to do.

What a Hard Life Some Have
It’s heart breaking to read about children who suffer so much loss at such a young age. But thank God there are real people like Mrs. Scott in the story that can and do change those innocent lives. A very good read!

Read this was a great read, the ending was very sweet. Made me cry. So much happened to these poor kids.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, its kept me enthralled, i felt so sad through the first part with all the deaths, i just couldnt fathom how the kids were going to make it, but i was happy when they were found by the crawfords thought theyd look after them (im being careful what i say as i do t want to give anything away).
