Outstanding!
WOW! Great read, great characters and storyline. This book kept me up all night until I finished it. The sad part is the villain was also a victim at one time. Reed the sexy hard charging cop and Nikki the reporter who just wanted her big break almost became victims themselves. I’ll most likely have nightmares about Nikki’s ordeal for a while but worth it! Lisa is a master at weaving a hair raising story. Looking forward to the next book of the series.

Good book.
This book is a good thriller. People are being buried alive on top of dead bodies. It keeps your interest right up until the end. The identity of the killer was signalled a little too soon for me, but it was still an exciting conclusion. This has some really gruesome scenes, so be prepared. Good read all in all.

The Morning After by Lisa JacksonThe story moves at a steady pace with well developed (likable) characters, vivid details, thrills, chills and a splash of romance. Overall I found The Morning After enjoyable and feel Lisa Jackson fans will enjoy it as well. Great as a standalone, but I do suggest reading the first in the series; The Night Before.

SURPRISED at “who done it”
Savannah Book 2 was a bit easier for me to read because there weren’t as many details in the telling. I was able to read through the Kindle edition easily and surprised often by the characters in the story. If some of the grisly details were a bit too much, I skipped over them. And loved how it came together at the end.

Good mystery
The book was good and the plot was excellent! Lots of intrigue and clues along the way. I was very disappointed by the graphic descriptions of the killer’s sexual fantasies and the predictable romance between the cop and reporter. If I wanted a love story I’d read romances!
